What's Where to Eat in St. Petersburg
Sobaka.ru magazine brought together those who defined St. Petersburg's gastronomic scene this year: winners, nominees, gastronomic legends, and the city's most active foodies.
Sobaka.ru magazine traditionally presented signature plates to the winners of the "What's Where to Eat in St. Petersburg" award. This year, 231,150 people participated in the public vote. From a shortlist of finalists, 25 experts selected the best.
For the first time, the winners in the "Best Chef" and "Best Restaurateur" categories were determined exclusively by industry professionals. The year's top chef was Roman Kiselev, the man who feeds hedonists at Casper, René, and Nothing Fancy. Aram Mnatsakanov and the duo of Dmitry Blinov and Renat Malikov (Duo Band) shared the victory in the "Best Restaurateur" category.
Sparkling and still wines from Chateau Tamagne were the perfect accompaniment to the evening.
