Signature – a new line of the Chateau Tamagne brand
The concept of the series was based on the idea of showing the consumer popular varieties in a classic design, but with elements of the author’s style and handwriting of the winemaker. These are premium wines that meet the highest quality standards.
“We took a fresh look at the process of creating aged wine. Here, every detail has its own unique signature: starting from the site where the grapes for the future wine were grown, specially developed agrotechnical measures for caring for the vineyards, and ending with a set of selected oenological materials for creating wine in conjunction with the aging method. We can confidently announce the emergence of a new style of wine in the portfolio of the Kuban-Vino winery,” noted the company’s chief oenologist Artyom Vasiliev.
The first sample of the collection was the aged dry white Chateau Tamagne Signature Chardonnay. The wine is made from selected grapes from the 2022 harvest (vines are 11-14 years old), grown within the boundaries of the geographical area “South Coast of Taman”.
To achieve the required technical and phenolic maturity of the grapes, a separate plot with sandy soil type was selected, the ripening of which took place under the strict control of winemakers and winegrowers. As part of this work, a specialized care scheme was formed with additional chasing and non-standard, more thorough protection of the plant from pests and diseases. To create the wine, special oenological materials were also selected, which became an important element in the beginning of the creation of an exceptional product. Aging took place in contact with alternative oak for 9 months at a temperature of 14-16 degrees, after which it continued to develop into steel. Interacting with wood, the wine was enriched with tannins, which gave the aroma nobility, and the taste - fullness and a long aftertaste.
The design of the sample is made in a classic style, emphasizing its status. The first edition of dry white wine Chateau Tamagne Signature Chardonnay is 34,000 copies.
Over time, the line will be supplemented with other varieties, including “saperavi” and “cabernet”, the release of which is planned for next year.
