CHATEAU TAMAGNE SAUVIGNON

The Russian dry white wine "Château Tamagne. Sauvignon" from the Kuban. Taman Peninsula State Heritage Site is made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown in vineyards spread across the sunny slopes of the Taman Peninsula. Sauvignon is one of the most recognizable grape varieties in the world, and in this interpretation, it vividly reflects the characteristics of the local terroir. Its character is unmistakable: fresh notes of gooseberry, blackcurrant leaf, and a slight herbaceous note are combined with a subtle mineral accent.

For "Château Tamagne. Sauvignon," the berries are picked at an optimal sugar content of 20-22%, then gently pressed and the must is aged on the lees for 72 hours. After clarification and decantation, vinification begins using pure yeast cultures in stainless steel acratophores at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C, preserving the freshness and complexity of the flavor. The wine is light straw in color with delicate green highlights. The aroma reveals a harmony of citrus notes, gradually transitioning to tropical fruits. On the palate, it impresses with juicy freshness, soft acidity, and a distinctive character. It perfectly complements seafood, oysters, grilled fish, and salads with fresh herbs and citrus sauces. Its richness and freshness also make it an excellent choice as an aperitif.
