Russian wine with PGI “Kuban”. Taman Peninsula" aged dry white "Müller-Thurgau. Chateau Taman Reserve”, harvested in 2022, is made from the same name grape variety of Normandy origin Müller-Thurgau, successfully grown on the Taman Peninsula. It was previously believed that the variety was created by crossing Riesling and Sylvaner, but recent DNA research suggests that the parents are some French varieties.
Limited edition wine “Müller-Thurgau. Chateau Taman Reserve" was aged in an acacia barrel for 16 months. The color of the wine in the glass is light straw in color with a crystalline sheen. The aroma softly intertwines tones of mulberry and green gooseberry, complemented by mineral notes. The taste demonstrates refreshing acidity, which gives the wine a light character and harmony with the bouquet. As a gastronomic pairing for dry white Müller-Thurgau.
